My work explores line and volume. It dances on the edge between human and creature. Neither naked nor clothed, vaguely aged and gendered, my sculptures examine what is in-between. Created as a loose response to my daughters’ early drawings, my work is inspired by the spirit and gestures of their imagery, providing me with a rich creative point of departure to explore the humanity and complexity of our times.
