I push boundaries.
Physically, my work is created by pushing the chemical boundaries between metal and glass. All the color in my work is created by the reaction of embedded metals through heat affected oxidation with fluxing agents in the glass.
Psychologically, my work uses iconography to incite emotion, pushing the boundaries between fragility and strength, fear and hope, illness and health.
